Overview
Sourcetree Setup
Obviously this is wrong - since we're trying to install SourceTree onto a shared computer (into a VM, to be specific) we don't have just one account (and, on top of that, we're using SourceTree with GitLab, not BitBucket/Atlassian, so we don't need their account anyways). You mentioned SourceTree which can also be used with Gitlab with no trouble, though I haven’t personally used it myself. The beauty of standards-based repositories like Git is that you should be able to use any Git client with a repository that you checked-out from the Gitlab server, even though it won’t have any fancy “integration. Sourcetree provides a valuable service to coders and developers. Command-line coding offers a limited view of overall work, especially when managing large projects. Sourcetree solves this by visualizing everything that is happening simultaneously. Should you download it?
Git is a version control system, which helps us keep track of and coordinate changes to various files. GitLab is a Git hosting and web-based management service for projects using Git, and SourceTree is a multi-platform desktop client that makes interacting with Git and GitLab more convenient. So roughly speaking, SourceTree is to Git (the technology) and GitLab (a service provider) what desktop clients such as Microsoft Outlook are to e-mail (the technology) for and Gmail (a service provider).
Like e-mail, there are many service providers and desktop clients. For the Warlpiri dictionary project, we use this particular combination. Thus, screenshots in this onboarding document refer to these particular software and services (please do let us know if these screenshots and instructions become out of date).
Lastly, if you do not already have a strong preference for a text editor (e.g. TextWrangler, Notepad++), we also recommend downloading and using Sublime Text. Unlike TextWrangler (macOS-only) or Notepad++ (Windows-only), Sublime Text is cross-platform, so we will also use Sublime Text in various screenshots below.
Because SourceTree does not have a specific protocol defined for GitLab in it's Accounts tab, clicking Remotes and selecting from the list of known repositories will not work. You need to change your approach when cloning repositories from GitLab to the 'Clone from URL' method. Load https://gitlab.com in your browser.

Also question is, can you use SourceTree with GitLab?
There does not seem to be a way to set up a GitLab account within SourceTree, but if you just clone a remote repo it will use your SSH key correctly. Edit: After SourceTree 3.0 it is possible to add various non-Atlassian git accounts, including GitLab. Those are optional settings.
Secondly, does SourceTree work with GitHub? Download and install SourceTreeSourceTree can be found at http://www.sourcetreeapp.com/. It is preferred to Github for Windows or Visual Studio's git integration because only SourceTree gives you UI support to follow the git-flow development process.
Additionally, does GitKraken work with GitLab?
Eve online insignia guide. With this new integration, GitLab users can now work more efficiently in GitKraken to manage repositories. Save time by leveraging GitKraken's integration with GitLab to do things like generate and connect SSH keys, find available remote repositories to clone, and more—all without ever leaving GitKraken.

Both, GitLab and GitHub are web-based Git repositories. The aim of Git is to manage software development projects and its files, as they are changing over time. A git repository is a central place where developers store, share, test and collaborate on web projects.
